INSPIRATION: Mother Teresa

An inspiration is someone you look up to and is your role model to life. However, I am not the type of person that would follow someone else’s opinions without thinking it through for myself. However there is one lady that motivates me in everything I do. Whether it’s in English, Maths or even P.E. She is someone I will always keep in my heart and her name was Mother Teresa. Her entire life was fully devoted to helping the poor, sick, the needy and the helpless. She was a charitable woman who cared about everyone.

Mother Teresa was my inspiration to life as she had very little support, while trying to feed and help the poor, she herself was constantly hungry and even had to beg for food. Soon other women joined her and she formed the Missionaries of Charity.

Mother Teresa described the purpose of the Missionaries of Charity as an organisation to take care of "the hungry, the naked, the homeless, the blind, and all those people who felt unwanted, unloved, uncared throughout society, people that had become a burden to the society and were shunned by everyone".

Mother Teresa not only helped people in India but she also looked after and cared for people in other parts of the world. This also shows that anyone in the world, no matter who are, can make a difference to the world. Everyone stood up to Mother Teresa, as she was an amazing role model to everyone.
